Studie: Psychologie, richting Klinische en Gezondheidspsychologie, Universiteit Utrecht (2005). Afstudeeronderzoek: Het seksueel functioneren van vrouwen met fibromyalgie.
Werk: Promovendus (2007-heden) en docent Psychologie (2005-heden) aan de Universiteit Utrecht.
Inleiding
Promotieonderzoek: Onbegrip voor onzichtbare aandoeningen. De meting en validatie van een belangrijk probleem bij fibromyalgie en reumatische ziekten (2007-2011). Het doel van het onderzoek is het ontwikkelen en onderzoeken van een vragenlijst waarmee onbegrip voor fibromyalgie en andere reumatische aandoeningen kan worden gemeten. Daarnaast zal de rol van onbegrip als mogelijk determinant van welbevinden en lichamelijk functioneren worden onderzocht.
